Description:
As a Creative Designer within the Marketing and Communications team, your task will be to champion, push, and elevate our brand across 360 creative campaigns, editorial design, website assets, email communications, social media campaigns, presentations, and ads. This is a great opportunity to work on varied work to provide a clear vision for how Avery Dennison Smartrac builds its effectiveness through each creative project.
Tasks:
- Lead the work across our retail segments (Food, Beauty, Apparel, General retail), APAC (retail & industrial segments), and Partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with an ecosystem of dedicated stakeholders across these segments.
- Manage, brief and oversee an ecosystem of creative partners (agencies and freelancers).
- Act as brand guardian by ensuring all of our publications are following our brand guidelines, and by providing design direction to create a sense of consistency and coherence.
- Design google slide presentations that allow the data visualization to be displayed in an easy to read format that is both attractive and functional.
- Carry out basic administrative tasks required to manage projects, track your project timings, organize your workload and report on budget.
- Ensure consistency of the brand and design for stand visuals, posters at industry events.
Qualifications
- BA Hons (or equivalent) degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally within a creative agency and/or an in-house multi-disciplinary design role
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages an advantage)
- A deep understanding of brand guidelines and a mastery of design systems (grid systems, typography, accessibility)
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, Google Slides. Motion graphics and Animation is an advantage (After Effects).
- Knowledgeable in technical requirements for print and digital outputs.
- Comfortable working in and outside of design templates.
- A problem solver led by curiosity, challenging the status quo.
- Organized, with a keen eye for detail.
