We are looking for a Corporate Reporting Manager to join our rapidly growing Reporting team. This is an exciting time to be at Arm, as a newly-listed company, as the business continues to grow and evolve!
This role has been crafted to strengthen Arm’s external financial reporting processes, with a focus on IFRS consolidated and UK GAAP external reporting, and is a great opportunity to develop professionally and gain exposure in a growing Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end preparation of the Group consolidated and company-only IFRS statutory financial statements and annual report, as well as financial statements for our active and dormant UK subsidiaries, including Arm Limited. From planning, roll-forward, preparation, review, customer engagement, internal and externals reviews, through to signing.
- Assist in planning and coordinating preparation of Arm’s Annual Report as a listed company, requiring collaboration with other teams/ stakeholders contributing to the Annual Report (both in and out of Finance).
- Build knowledge of differences between the IFRS and US GAAP consolidations and work in alignment with the SEC Reporting team and Accounting teams on US GAAP financial information where requirements overlap or are dependent.
- Assist with quarterly preparation of IFRS financial reporting to our parent company.
- Drive a continuous improvement model for Arm’s statutory financial reporting. Work with the team to deliver best practice, outstanding, efficient and accurate financial reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Arm Technical Accounting to ensure group reporting appropriately covers any new accounting standards, policies, or disclosures of relevance to Arm, and an opportunity to gain experience in technical accounting.
- Use excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to develop effective cross-functional relationships.
Required Skills And Experience
- ACA/ ACCA fully qualified accountant (or similar).
- Solid understanding of IFRS and its application;
- Experience of statutory accounts preparation and analysis from accountancy practice and/or relevant industry roles are both welcomed.
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail.
- Ability to balance contending asks and prioritise and handle customers accordingly including effective project management experience.
- Strive to deliver quality during key project and reporting times.
