Contracts Manager

We're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our regional civils team based in Shifnal, working on the Severn Trent Water framework – located in the catchment areas of Britains two largest rivers, the severn and the trent.

Responsibilities

In the role of Contracts Manager, you’ll be supporting our regional civils team on Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects including treatment facilities, storm overflow reduction schemes, waste and clean water main replacement, impounding reservoirs and service reservoirs. Schemes are varied in both size and complexity but typically consists of a high degree of traditional civils with an element of mechanical and electrical works and range is size from £250k to >£10m

Your day to day will include:

Leading a team of operational, commercial and design staff to deliver a programme of work safely, on time and within budget.

Ensuring compliance with our Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards

Liaison with the Client and third-party stakeholders.

Line management of Site Agents and Site Engineers working on your projects.

Reviewing and approving contract documentation including CMP’s RAMS and Temporary Works

Reporting and presentation of monthly performance to Senior Management

Mentoring and development of junior staff.
