Description:
The Content Marketer works within the marketing department and plays a key role in supporting the Castle Health marketing team in executing the marketing and communications strategy. This position focuses on planning, designing, utilising and optimising content to enhance our digital presence. You will be working in collaboration with an SEO expert, and content creators. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving organic traffic and elevating brand visibility. Your role will be pivotal in supporting various digital projects, working in partnership with the communications team to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Management and Planning
- Content Uploads: Manage and execute the upload of new content across all websites, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Content and Page Plans: Develop comprehensive content and page plans that align with SEO best practices and marketing goals.
- Content Strategy Development: Craft comprehensive content plans aligned with business goals, identifying target audience personas, and performing content gap analysis.
SEO and Technical Optimisation
- SEO Integration: Work closely with SEO experts to ensure content is optimised for search engines while maintaining user-friendly content.
- On-Page Optimisation: Implement on-page SEO techniques, including keyword optimisation, internal linking, and improving site structure.
Data Analysis
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of content strategies and content performance, using tools like Google Analytics to inform decision-making.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse metrics and KPIs to track user engagement and content reach, making data-backed recommendations for content improvement.
Digital PR
- Digital PR: Develop and contribute to digital PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and build high-quality backlinks.
Multimedia Management
- Multimedia: Oversee the creation and integration of multimedia content, including videos and audio, for the website and social media platforms.
Competitor Analysis
- Competitor Analysis: Perform thorough competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends, ensuring our strategies remain competitive and effective.
Marketing Support
- Marketing Support: Assist with various marketing projects, including digital advertising, newsletters, and event organisation. Ensure brand consistency across all digital and printed materials.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute content marketing campaigns, coordinating with team members to ensure consistent messaging and tracking campaign performance.
Other Duties
- Cross-Departmental Support: Assist with other aspects of communication and marketing as needed, especially during staff absences or to support other team members. This may include tasks related to IT and telehealth support.
Skills / Attributes Required for This Role:
- Content Strategy: Experience in developing and executing comprehensive content strategies.
