Role Overview:
As a Safeguarding and Education Welfare Advisor, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety, welfare, and educational success of children and young people. Your mission will be to provide specialised knowledge and support to schools and leaders while working closely with children and families. In addition to this, you'll have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of KD Safeguarding training, events, marketing initiatives, and sales efforts.

Innovative Training: Get ready to design and deliver cutting-edge training sessions that will empower professionals and agencies with the tools they need to create and embed strong safeguarding practices and culture within their school or setting.
Advocating Excellence: You'll be the champion of best practices in safeguarding and attendance, influencing positive change in educational settings and organisations working with children.
Fuelling Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships between schools and relevant agencies, ensuring a seamless flow of support and resources. Modelling respectful professional curiosity and challenge.
Stay at the Cutting Edge: Keep ahead of the curve by staying up-to-date with the latest in safeguarding practices, research and mandatory training.
Be the Change-Maker: Influence policy revisions in line with evolving government directives and provide critical updates to colleagues and customers.
Champion Equality: Uphold empathy, fairness and dignity in every interaction, promoting inclusivity and diversity in your role.
Sales and Marketing Dynamo: Actively promote the services of KD Safeguarding, contributing to the growth and success of our mission.
What We're Looking For:
A passionate and driven professional who has had experience working within schools or Local Authorities within a safeguarding and/or attendance capacity. The ideal candidate would have experience of being a Designated Safeguarding Lead, education welfare officer or early help practitioner. The candidate would be committed to working with professionals, children and families to change and improve the outcomes for children and young people. Excellent communication skills and relationship-based practice would be at the heart of the candidate's approach to working with children, families and KD Safeguarding customers.
