Construction Director

An opportunity to join an award-winning, national housebuilder to effectively lead the division’s construction function to manage the wider team, onsite delivery and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with external consultants on site to coordinate labour and resources
• Motivate and guide the wider construction department whilst maintaining clear communication with both technical and commercial teams
• Reporting back progress on live schemes
• Take responsibility for the general running of the department, setting budgets, minimising risks, and achieving the company targets
• Monitoring and controlling any potential risks that may occur and rectifying defects to minimise any additional costs or delays to the timeline

About you:

• Proven experience in leading a team within a PLC housebuilder
• Able to collaborate with the relevant parties during the development phase, whilst prioritising workload to manage your time effectively
• You will have a strong work ethic
• Enthusiasm to get stuck in with the rest of the team
