Compliance Manager

Description:

Pharma-Partners is working with a European pharmaceutical business to hire a new Compliance and Contracts Manager for the UK & Ireland (UK&I) affiliate.

Reporting directly into Global Compliance, this role will lead the local compliance framework providing expert advice to the leadership and cross functional teams, and in addition will provide contracting support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the UK&I compliance framework
• Stay up to date with any changes to and ensure the application of relevant codes of practice, laws and regulations
• Provide training to teams and ensure awareness across the business
• Maintain, update and communicate key process, SOPs, policies and fair market value framework
• Deliver reporting as necessary
• Partner with Global Legal in managing contracting queries and negotiations
• Support and advise the local Senior Leadership Team
• Maintain adherence to GDPR
• Ensure local data protection requirements are met and liaise with Global as required
• Maintain expert knowledge of the ABPI Code

The Candidate Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Compliance experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
• Understanding of the ABPI & IPHA Code and appropriate UK&I laws and regulations
• Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection
• Excellent business partnering, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with risk-based decision making
