What you'll be doing
- Support, where appropriate, all technical and commercial aspects of the mechanical and electrical installation on BBES projects.
- Ensure that operations in the factory and on site are carried out in a safe manner and ensure that the company’s business processes are followed in carrying out the construction project.
- Maintain good client relationships on the project.
- Power commissioning experience on London Underground and/or Network Rail.
- Knowledge of London Underground policies and systems (desirable).
Who we're looking for
- Significant management experience within the construction or relevant support services industries, together with a strong understanding of technical issues and trends in the traction and or power sectors.
- The individual should ideally have experience of traction power supply systems for rail or have previously had design experience with low voltage to medium voltage switchboard design.
- Proven experience in commissioning management, preferably within the rail industry.
- Hold a degree in an appropriate discipline (a minimum of HNC / ONC or equivalent in a relevant subject is expected) or similar.
- Corporate membership of a professional body is desirable.
- Evidence of recent management/leadership development is desirable.
- An HNC in Contracting Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
