Commercial Manager

Copello are partnered with a major defence organisation in West Sussex recruiting for a Contracts and Commercial Manager to joint their team permanently.

As the Contract and Commercial Manager you will be leading the entire commercial management lifecycle for the UK business, including EU and World wide bids and tenders. You role will encompass develop and implementing commercial strategies, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance and managing stakeholder relationships.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

• Contract strategy and development formulating and executing comprehensive commercial strategies and work in line with project objectives
• Leading the development and negotiation of contracts with a focus on risk mitigation.
• Perform reviews of contractual agreements (NDAs, Teaming agreements, TAA’s etc)
• Implement strategies to mitigate risks and collaborate with global legal advisors to ensure all contracts are legally sound
• Review performance metrics and conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, both internal and external
• Act as the focal point of contact for customers
• Proactive participation in business winning working with bid teams including the generation to commercial responses for RFPs
• Assist the bids and proposals manager to generate proposal documentation
