Commercial Manager

Description:

They are seeking an experienced Commercial manager who can work closely with their Head of construction specializing in Battery Energy Storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects to ensure they are completed within budget, meet quality standards, and comply with legal and contractual requirements. This role involves financial analysis, contract negotiation, risk management, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including technical advisors, contractors, and internal project teams.

Responsibilities - What will a Commercial Manager will be doing?

• Review and negotiate contracts
• Ensure contracts are compliant in line with legal regulations and company policies
• Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking costs throughout
• Prepare financial forecasts
• Manage claims and disputes related to contracts.
• Liaise with legal counsel
• negotiate favorable terms and agreement with vendors
• Communicate effective with the project managers
