Description:
We are looking for a Commercial Management Accountant to join our fantastic Finance Team. In this varied and fast-paced role, you will be tasked with the completion of statutory and management reporting for all A2Dominion Group’s commercial companies including related development joint ventures whereby A2D provide financial accounting services.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare the management and statutory accounts for all commercial development entities, related joint ventures whereby A2D provide financial accounting services within the A2Dominion Group in line with Group reporting and statutory requirements in time for the annual external audit
- To prepare fixed asset, grant and stock notes for the RP entities
- Carry out monthly reconciliations of all relevant balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for commercial entities and related joint ventures
- Prepare the annual budgets and monthly forecasts for commercial entities and by effectively monitoring, ensure they are delivered on time
- Act as the key point of contact for commercial entities including related joint ventures whereby A2D provide financial accounting services
- Responsible for the preparation of all VAT, corporation tax and any related tax returns to meet statutory deadlines
- To provide internal and external auditors with all necessary documentation to enable audits to be carried out in accordance with the agreed timetable
- To be actively involved in project work when required that looks to continuously improve on systems, processes and procedures within A2Dominion Group
- Provide any further support where necessary to the Senior Commercial Accountant
More about you:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- You must be at least part qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience of producing company management and statutory accounts
- Experience of preparing VAT and related tax returns
- Experience of balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliation
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and critically analysing outputs
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
