Description:
AGCO Finance is looking for a Collections & Recoveries Team Leader to manage and optimise collections and recoveries (C&R) activities, minimising risk costs and optimising returns while ensuring best-in-class service levels. As part of the global joint venture between AGCO and DLL, you will work with a dynamic team to manage retail arrears collections and support key recovery processes for AGCO's customers and dealers in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Arrears Collection Activities:
- Manage and optimise C&R processes throughout the collections life-cycle, from early technical arrears to litigation.
- Prioritise accounts and analyse trends to inform future lending strategies.
Recovery Process:
- Engage with field staff to encourage voluntary surrender of assets.
- Assign external recovery agents in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Legal:
- Prepare and submit cases for external legal support.
- Hold regular review meetings with legal partners to track progress and cost-effectiveness.
People Management:
- Facilitate daily huddles, prioritising workloads and assigning tasks.
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
- Monitor and manage team service levels.
Reporting:
- Report on arrears levels, risk costs, and non-performing loans to management and commercial teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with global policies.
Networking:
- Chair monthly arrears review meetings with the local Management Team.
- Provide feedback and process improvement recommendations for the processing of novation and reschedule requests.
Projects & Ad-Hoc Support:
- Participate in projects as directed by the Risk Manager.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Adherence to group risk procedures.
- Effective management of retail arrears and overdue receivables.
- Timely and accurate reporting of risk costs and non-performing loans.
Essentials:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as collections team lead.
- Experience in an FCA regulated environment.
- CICM qualification (desirable).
- Exposure to or interest in the agricultural sector (desirable).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools (PowerBI, Power Apps, SharePoint) (desirable).
- Experience managing global stakeholders (desirable).
