The team is growing and they need an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the firm's Cloud Engineering team, based in Cambridge.

As the Cloud Engineer, you will join a team who is responsible for creating secure and highly available infrastructure for a number of the firm's cloud based products on AWS.

The team believes in automation and the use of IaC to enable them to deploy quickly and effectively into multiple environments. You will be contributing to achieving these goals, using a range of technologies, including Terraform, Docker etc.

You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, ensuring the firm's systems are reliable, secure, and efficient.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Harness the Power of Automation: Utilise infrastructure as code and automation to seamlessly provide cloud services across multiple environments, from testing to production.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with product owners, developers, and testers to develop and implement new services and features that push the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Champion System Reliability: Play a key role in maintaining the availability, reliability, and security of our systems and services, ensuring they run smoothly around the clock.
  • Optimise Monitoring: Ensure we have effective logging, monitoring, and alerting in place, so issues are identified and resolved quickly.
  • Automate and Improve: Drive automation of workflows and reduce technical debt, making our processes more efficient and scalable.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise with the cloud engineering team through organized discussions and clear, comprehensive documentation.
