Clinical Research Fellow

Description:

The Clinical Research Fellow will support the recruitment, assessment and participant visits in a controlled trial designed to evaluate new approaches to the diagnosis and management of food allergy in children. The Fellow will also support other research activities within the Children’s Clinical Research Facility at Imperial’s Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) and be based in the dynamic research group of Dr Paul Turner.

It Is Expected That You Will
 

• recruit patients from St Mary’s Hospital
• be responsible for accurate record keeping and documentation of results.
• participate in research meetings and internal seminars
• have the opportunity to prepare and present reports and papers arising from your research
• carry out teaching duties and assist in the development of research proposals and funding bids
• Comply with relevant college policies
   

Essential requirements
 

• Must hold GMC (General Medical Council) registration
• Hold a degree in Medicine
• Minimum experience equivalent to ST6 in paediatrics
• Current APLS certification (or equivalent)
• Appropriate clinical skills in medicine
