We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist who is interested in expanding their experience in working with adults with long term physical health conditions.

It is essential that the post-holder has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and to be HCPC registered by the time of commencing in post. We would welcome applications from newly qualified psychologists or 3rd year trainees due to qualify this year.

The post holder will be employed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and will usually be based at the QMC Hospital and Derby Hospital but will be required to work at both the City and QMC Campuses.

The post will provide psychological input to adults with haemoglobinopathies (sickle cell and thalassaemia as both inpatient and outpatient work) and across clinics in Nottingham and Derby. The clinical psychologist will play a key part in the MDT case management of patients and will offer specialist advice, consultation and supervision to non-psychologists within the service. The post is mainly based at City Hospital with a requirement to travel to Royal Derby Hospital and a little work at QMC.
