Clinical Administrator

The postholder will provide ongoing input into the development and maintaining of Designability’s clinical governance processes to ensure the provision of an exemplary standard of practice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with families via written correspondence, email, over the telephone and in person.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for WBLS families for all clinical queries throughout the loan period.
  • Follow governance procedures, ensuring that the CRM system is kept up to date with all relevant information and data.
  • Scheduling of clinical appointments, including one and six-month reviews, ad hoc reviews and end of loan extensions.
  • Proactively seek process improvements to maximise administrative efficiencies for the loan scheme
  • Attending clinical focused exhibitions and events throughout the year.
  • Other administration duties as required, such as assisting with marketing campaigns.

  • You will have:
    • Extensive administration experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a good standard of competency in English and maths
    • Excellent IT skills, with intermediate MS Office
    • Accurate typing to a good speed
    • Very strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to show initiative in problem solving when dealing with novel or conflicting demands
    • Effective time management skills
    • Strong customer service skills and excellent telephone manner
    • Experience using a CRM system
    • Data analysis skills, with the ability to spot key trends and recommend process changes
    • Focus with a high level of attention to detail
    • A creative, proactive and resourceful approach to get work done quickly and to a high standard
    • Experience in prioritising work schedules and working to tight deadlines
    • An ability to grasp complex administrative processes
    • Self-motivation
    • Confidence in decision making and willing and able to take on responsibility for tasks
    • The ability to be a good team worker
    • Sensitivity and empathy when dealing with vulnerable clients
