Cleaning Assistant

 

Description:

The Campus Cleaning Services team at the University of Warwick is looking for a Cleaning Assistant to join its non-residential team. The role involves cleaning various campus buildings, including offices, teaching rooms, the Arts Centre, and the Library. You will be responsible for ensuring the campus buildings remain clean and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning non-residential buildings across the campus, including teaching rooms, offices, the Library, and the Arts Centre.
  • Ensuring high cleanliness standards are met consistently.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Following health and safety regulations and best practices.

The position operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Flexible working arrangements may be considered.

About the Department:

The Campus Cleaning Services team plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the University’s campus. The team cleans over 7,000 campus bedrooms, 479 hotel rooms, and 65 University buildings. The University’s cleaning team is trained and certified by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), and all cleaning staff receive regular training and refresher courses.
