Chief Transformation Officer

To support this new phase of development, we are seeking to appoint a Chief Transformation Officer to provide vision and strategic leadership for organisational change across the whole of the University, establishing the principles, standards and frameworks to create and implement fundamental transformational change that has long term impacts for the institution and enables the University to meet its strategic aims and ambitions.

The role holder will ensure that change is not only delivered successfully, but also embedded in a sustainable manner and that the University’s business capabilities and operating model are as efficient and effective as possible, being fit-for-purpose in achieving our strategic aims.

This highly challenging position will require an individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and build excellent working relationships at all levels. The ideal candidate will have an excellent and quantifiable record of achievement in leading and managing change in large, multifaceted and complex organisations, as well as a proven track record of project management and team leadership. An understanding of the Higher Education landscape, opportunities and challenges is essential.

The Chief Transformation Officer will be accountable to the Vice Chancellor and will work collaboratively with the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team to deliver their objectives.
