Chief Operating Officer

Description:

The Chief Operating Officer will provide management support as delegated by the Chief Executive Officer, to relevant divisions across the organisation to enhance operations and service delivery. They will contribute effectively to strategic and business planning, to ensure clear objectives and expectations are delivered and maintained.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the delivery of high quality social care services across the UK.
• Take responsibility for the financial and operational performance of your business units.
• In conjunction with the CEO, lead the process of developing the annual Business Plan for each business unit with the active participation of the Managers and other Head Office members
• Ensure implementation of the agreed strategy and business plan across the Company
• Relationship management with major clients, governing bodies and stakeholders including PCT’s, Social Services, CQC, etc.
• A proven ability to drive performance improvement, whilst delivering growth.
