Description:
This role will take leadership and management responsibility for all areas of the business, working alongside the Founder to establish future strategy and plans, and then work closely with the team to ensure effective communication, implementation and execution of agreed plans.
- Build and execute the strategic business plans, achieving or exceeding planned P&L and growth objectives.
- Lead, manage and hold colleagues accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
- Integrate all major operating functions and divisions of the business. Ensuring everyone is rowing together in the same direction. Model the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.
- Embed the values, culture, and resources to attract and engage the very best talent.
- Resolve issues effectively – seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner. Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional and cohesive.
- Ensure that everyone is truly following and adhering to the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency. Demonstrates effective project management skills.
- Dependably demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity and clarity.
- Effectively collaborate with the Founder (in the role of the Visionary solver) and stay on the same page. Maintain a high level of mutual respect with the Founder. Recognise the unique contributions and ideas that the Founder has and possesses an ability to filter and translate those ideas into functional plans for the company.
- Confirm that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organisation. Inherently ensuring that everyone is in the know. Verifying that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organisation.
