Chief Compliance Officer

Description:

This is a full-time role for a Chief Compliance Officer based at our head office in Buckhurst Hill and visiting our other offices as necessary. As a Chief Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing compliance activities within the firm. Your day-to-day tasks will include ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing compliance management systems, analyzing data and reports and communicating compliance requirements to staff. The role will also require some interaction with our Chief Financial Officer but does not include a specific mandate relating to the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

You will be the firm's primary driver of compliance excellence, covering firmwide and department specific elements such as:-

• Anti-Money Laundering
• Client Onboarding
• Document Management & Security
• CQS
• WIQS
• Lexcel
• ISO 9001
• Investors in People
• Cyber Essentials

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance management and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A law degree or experience in the legal sector is beneficial but not essential
