Description:
Cobel Surveyors, an independent RICS-registered firm of Chartered Building Surveyors, is seeking a motivated and qualified Chartered Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. Based in Devon and Cornwall, Cobel Surveyors offers an engaging and professional work environment focused on delivering exceptional client service in residential surveying.
As a valued member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting residential building surveys, including RICS Home Survey Level 2 & 3 reports, as well as snagging surveys on new build homes. Additional duties may include pre-inspection desktop surveys and direct client liaison both before and after inspections.
While the core role centers around residential work, there is an opportunity to broaden expertise into commercial property surveying, although this is optional and not a mandatory part of the role.
Conduct RICS Home Survey Level 2 & 3 inspections.
Perform pre-inspection desktop surveys.
Carry out snagging surveys on new build properties.
Communicate effectively with clients before and after surveys.
Potential to engage in commercial survey work (optional).
Perform other duties relevant to the role as required.
Minimum of AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualification.
Must have relevant post-qualification experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using tablets, laptops, and other IT tools.
Residential valuations experience is advantageous but not essential.
A valid Full UK Driver’s License is required.
