Cdt Manager

Description:

We are looking for a Centre Manager who can support our current students and ensure the delivery of the program while working closely with the leadership team to define the next chapter for FARSCOPE beyond 2027. Your efforts will help secure the funding required to continue our mission of making robotic systems ubiquitous.

The role would require the successful candidate to work out of both our Ada Lovelace building and the Bristol Robotics Lab with an option to work remotely 1 to 2 days a week when commitments allow.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to initiatives that support the future growth and ongoing success of the Centre.

What will you be doing?

• Operational Delivery: Ensure consistently high-quality support for all Centre staff and students.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the Universities of Bristol and the University of the West of England (UWE), the Bristol Robotics Lab, and external partners to deliver a positive and successful student experience.
• Showcasing Achievements: Present FARSCOPE's achievements and demonstrate the programme's impact within academia and the wider world.
• Future Opportunities: Support the leadership team in identifying and securing future opportunities to sustain and enhance the programme's impact.
• Development and Innovation: Act as a catalyst for new developments within the Centre and a focal point for new opportunities.
