Care Assistant

Description:

This is a part-time remote role for a Care Assistant. The Care Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day support of clients in their own homes. This includes but is not limited to providing personal care, medication support, and companionship. The Care Assistant will work closely with the Case Manager or Nurse responsible for the care of the client and will provide feedback about the client’s health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Manual Handling and Dementia Care skills
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Communication skills
• Caregiving experience, preferably in-home care
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A passion for caring for others
• Basic knowledge of safe medication administration
• Completion of an accredited Care Assistant training program or willingness to complete one
• A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England or equivalent is a plus
