Campaign Manager

Our client are seeking a dynamic Campaigns Manager with a strong focus on showcasing their exceptional Higher Education programs. They’re looking for an individual who is passionate about music, education, and connecting with prospective higher education students and music enthusiasts at the school.

 

Your role involves crafting original and engaging content across various platforms, including newsletters, partner sites (such as UCAS and WhatUni), and their external website. This requires exceptional writing skills aligned with their tone and style, adapting content for key recruitment and advertising channels. As an experienced marketer, you'll work with Google Adwords, Analytics, and social media advertising, emphasising attention to detail and insightful data-driven strategies.

 

Responsibilities encompass editorial management, campaign setup, and maintenance of digital channels, extending our clients reach to new territories. Evolving our presence in the digital landscape while strengthening our global brand in Higher Education and the music industry is a pivotal aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

The Marketing and Campaigns service is responsible for the delivery of informative, inspiring and impactful advertising and messages whilst strengthening the brand and academic offering. This role covers but (are not limited to):

 

Campaign management (Higher Education courses):

  • Lead HE campaign projects with third parties and partners, ensuring clear objectives and a focus on the applicant journey to help ensure recruitment targets are met.
  • Oversee various campaign projects, both digital and offline, across different regions.
  • Coordinate online delivery, ensuring accurate execution and communication with media owners.
  • Oversee the Videographer and Social Media and Content Editor in filming and editing relevant events, tutorials, and masterclasses to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.

 

Digital advertising and reporting (all courses):

  • Oversee banner creative, text ads, and messaging across digital platforms.
  • Implement SEO strategies to increase traffic, registrations, and sales for HE and professional courses.
  • Manage digital campaigns, including PPC and display, to optimise performance and assess ROI.
  • Continuously optimise all Adwords activity to increase traffic, registrations, and sales.
  • Analyse and develop monthly advertising and marketing reports using platforms like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Adform.
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse data to report on sales and conversion insights within the recruitment cycle, and conversion rates across all touchpoints.
  • Track campaigns across all touchpoints
  • Manage campaigns and drive efficiencies for acquisition, ensuring clear call-to-actions for conversion.

 

Content marketing and communication (Higher Education courses):

  • Share compelling student and alumni stories via newsletters and other channels.
  • Craft and deliver effective marketing communications, including email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Develop methods to enhance the conversion pipeline and reach through third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate with the content team, Web Manager, and Digital Marketing Manager for efficient information sharing and campaign execution.

 

Events and general duties (Higher Education courses):

  • Assist in organising internal and external events.
  • Handle day-to-day digital campaign optimisation.
  • Schedule, market, and deliver routine campaign work across various industry and Higher Education platforms.
  • Ensure accurate and audience-friendly presentation of information and processes, adhering to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as requested by senior management.

 

Skills & Experience - Essential:

Education

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar marketing campaigns role.
  • Hold a digital marketing qualification or substantial experience in working on Google platforms.

 

Experience

  • Experience in HE / Education marketing roles.
  • Experience in campaign planning and construction of on and offline marketing and advertising projects.
  • Ability to write for a diverse range of audiences and experience of communicating for the purpose of advertising products.
  • Experience in understanding of music and/or education marketing.
