Business Development Manager

 

Description:

Our client is a highly successful full printing solutions provider based in the St Albans area. They are market leaders, helping businesses in Greater London with their printing requirements. They are a reward-winning business, renowned for their oustanding after-sales service and support.

 

As a member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing new business using a range of sales techniques including networking, social media, telesales, events, etc. You will also be responsible for looking after existing clients (20%) to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business by creating excellent working relationships.

 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for new business development, winning new business (80%)
  • Responsible for key accounts (20%)
  • Regular client contact including visits and resigning clients onto new service agreements
  • Carrying out account reviews with clients to demonstrate ROI.
  • Ensuring that new and current clients are aware of new products and services
  • Successfully achieving quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Working closely with the service and technical teams to offer product support and training to clients
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling additional products that can add value to clients
  • Maintaining the CRM database
  • Identifying key areas for growth and gross profit increase
  • Negotiating and retaining existing business through re-tendering processes and secure fixed-term agreements
