Description:
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a talented team of trust and grants fundraisers. The focus of the role is twofold: to inspire and support the team to reach their potential, and to lead on the generation of income from a range of sources with a principal focus on large grant-making trusts, statutory funding, bids, contracts and tenders.
You don’t need to have a fundraising background; you’ll have a strategic outlook, be able to turn ideas into action and love to develop those around you.

This role will build on the success already achieved by the team and manage a team of fundraisers applying to prospective funders and account managing existing funders. This role is vital in implementing our five-year vision to create a step change in our fundraising.
Moving from a funder-led approach to engaging all supporters as part of our movement, where effective fundraising builds relationships and becomes an essential part of achieving our charitable objectives, not just funding them.
