Description:
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers and stakeholders within client organisations.
Understand customer requirements and develop solutions to meet their specific needs.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a timely and professional manner.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and maintaining long-term partnerships.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for rentals.
Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and provide regular reports and forecasts to the management team.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
Monitor competitor activities and industry developments, identifying potential threats and opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for product development, pricing adjustments and marketing campaigns.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales collateral and targeted marketing campaigns.
Liaise with the operations team to ensure efficient coordination and execution of hires.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, invoicing and timely collection of payments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Crane hire or plant hire experience is a must.
Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within construction or related industries.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Analytical skills to gather market intelligence and identify business opportunities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Lift planning experience or Appointed Person credentials will be advantageous.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
