A global leader in the distribution of electronic components is seeking an established Business Development Manager to lead their sales drive for the UK and Europe. As the company continues to grow, they need a BDM to take the reigns from the Directors so they can manage a more strategic approach to steer the business to continued success. This means that there is a genuine opportunity for the position to progress into directorship within just a couple of years.

As Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business, liaising with new and existing accounts to build relationships with key stakeholders, enabling you to get your products written into designs and BOMs. You will enjoy full back office support, enabling you to focus on what’s important and to enhance your ability to manage multiple sales projects.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include:

  • Developing and executing a strategic business development plan.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and markets.
  • Monitoring industry trends and staying ahead of the curve.
