Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with large direct clients and securing new business in the corporate sector. The role holder will also be expected to build strong relationships with UKI account managers and improve PMI clients’ uptake of engagement with Clinics’ services.

 

You’ll help us make health happen by:

 

  • To achieve/exceed all new business targets by working strategically and tactically with large corporates
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities within Salesforce to help achieve your objective
  • To undertake lead roles in new business tenders, proposals and new business opportunities
  • Lead new business pitches and work with the team to secure new large corporate customers
  • Manage the successful implementation of new groups and the transition to Account Managers
  • Support Account Managers to sell additional products and services to existing customers
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal personnel and to use internal resource to positively position the proposition to large corporates
  • To ensure that all sales systems, plans and customer records are maintained and kept up to date

 

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

 

  • Business Development experience in a Corporate environment
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market
  • Proven track record of successful consultative selling
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven experience of managing complex negotiations at a senior level
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and create an extensive network of contacts both internal and external
  • Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders, internal and external to deliver sales objectives
