Description:
We are currently recruiting for Business Development Manager – Internal Sales to join our National Call Centre in Birchwood reporting into the Business Development Desk Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Follow up and convert warm inbound enquiries from Sales Force.
- Compile fresh quotes with a view to closing the order on the call first time.
- Review existing quotes to secure the order on the call.
- Nurturing a pipeline of quotes into repeat business.
- Achieve all KPI’s daily, weekly monthly.
- Split time evenly between new and pipeline work. 70% telephony based, 30% admin based. Make outgoing customer calls to convert quotes into hires.
- Understand whether there is a wider opportunity sat behind the initial quote and how this can be followed up.
- Structure outbound calls and other activities in line with optimum times to contact customers.
- Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into CRM giving full transparency of any conversation and /or actions required.
- Use all available resources internal and external to research relevant markets and customers to maximise revenue opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Experience of outbound business to business account management or telesales or telemarketing preferred.
- Hard working and target driven.

- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels.
- Able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills to ensure business is won on viable commercial terms.

- Must be able to demonstrate highly effective negotiation skills.
- Excellent telephone manner with the ability to keep calm under pressure and build a rapport with customers.
