Dr.PAWPAW, the UK’s leading producer of PAWPAW balms sold in over 30 countries and
available in all major outlets, is looking for a full-time finance director to join its growing team.
The brand
Dr.PAWPAW is a fast-growing beauty business distributed globally in the best retailers worldwide with an expanding portfolio of products including balms, hand creams, haircare and
gift sets. All tubes are 100% recyclable, and Dr.PAWPAW ensures all ingredients are ethically
and sustainably sourced, cruelty-free and all products are PETA approved. This brand
prioritises integrity and believes in sharing its success to bring goodness to the world by
supporting UK national and international charities. The business has just hit a 6 million pound
turnover which was a 40% increase on last year, and there is another 40% increase predicted for
22/23. The company is looking for a Business Development Executive to help its sales team
with its strategic growth.
The Role
As Business Development Executive you will be tasked to grow the existing business as well as
secure new retailers in the UK and Internationally by working with the Head of Sales and
Business Development Managers. Depending on experience the successful candidate will be
given a portfolio of customers across the online, high street, grocery, and international channels and
will assist the Business Development managers with their existing accounts. Reporting into the
Head of Sales you will also work alongside the company’s marketing team to ensure accounts
follow the company's NPD and sales drives.
Although this is an office-based position, you will regularly visit clients across the UK and
internationally, as well as attend a number of trade shows globally such as Cosmoprof and
ECRM.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have some experience in a sales role
helping with new business with national and/or international accounts within the beauty/fast
moving consumer goods industry. It is important that you have a passion for ethical beauty and
the Dr.PAWPAW brand, as well as a love for sales.
The ideal candidate will be a driven and determined individual with a personable and outgoing
personality. They will also need to be upbeat and enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude. No
one day is the same. Therefore, the ability to adapt quickly and work cross-functionally across the
whole team is important.
