We're seeking a Business Development Executive to join the team and play a pivotal role in expanding their reach in independent secondary schools and multi-academy trusts.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and engage with key decision-makers in the education sector.
- Create and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to acquire new customers.
- Tailor the value proposition of our services to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Nurture existing accounts to drive growth in sales, order sizes, share of basket, and profitability.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor.
- Drive double-digit year-on-year sales and profit growth for existing accounts.
- Continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling solutions from our diverse range.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted marketing plans for the education sector.
- Partner with our food development team/chefs to present customised food solutions.
- Acquire independent secondary schools and new multi-academy trust clients within the first year.
- Exceed revenue targets from new accounts.
- Monitor and maintain target profit margins across accounts.
- Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts, managing budgets, pricing, and profitability.
- Analyse financial data to make informed decisions that drive revenue growth and cost control.
