The Centre for Financial Crime and Security (CFCS) at RUSI is a leading authority on the intersection of finance and security. Its research aims to advance the integrity of the financial system by equipping the international community with the knowledge, tools and ideas to understand, identify and disrupt the threats of illicit finance.

About the role

CFCS is celebrating its ten-year anniversary in 2024 and is expanding its research agenda. We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for business development to help secure our next phase of growth. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new strategies and partnerships to drive our impact.

Reporting to the Director of the CFCS, the Partnerships Manager will have the following core responsibilities as elaborated further below:

• • Business Development for the CFCS ten-year anniversary
• • Management of the CFCS Partnership Forum (PF)
• • Identification of new funding opportunities

Key Tasks

Business Development for the CFCS ten-year anniversary

• • Lead on the business development for activities relating to the ten-year anniversary. This includes securing sponsorship of the Flagship Conference and the range of 1en-year anniversary activities, which will take place throughout 2024.
• • Manage the relationship with sponsors ensuring that CFCS is delivering as promised. This includes overseeing the internal coordination for events and activities and related branding.
• • Identify long term and flexible funding for the CFCS by leveraging the anniversary as an opportunity to showcase CFCSs impact and value to new potential supporters.
