Description:
As a Business Analyst within Digital Services, you will utilise your skills and experience to support the transformation of our Digital Services adding real value to the council and its residents, by supporting the build of applications and workflows on the council's new Digital Platform. You will also play a major role in helping to identify business needs and develop digital solutions to business problems that are in line with the operational goals of the business. Acting as an intermediary between Digital Services and council services you will collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual designs, ensuring that applications and solutions are procured / developed to meet evolving business requirements and drive better value from IT systems.
This post is temporary fixed term until 31 st March 2026.
What we are looking for…
You will ideally possess a professional qualification in Business Analysis or have a background in Continual Improvement with knowledge and experience of ITIL's Continual Service Improvement / 7 Step Improvement Process, Lean and Six Sigma. Additionally, experience in applying automation and AI techniques would be advantageous.
