Description:

The Digital & IT team play a crucial role in delivering core applications, infrastructure, service delivery, project management and change support to all our customers and stakeholders. We are guided by our Digital Strategy to ensure the best possible digital environment for our staff and students.

This role will support the next phase of delivery of our digital strategy, ensuring that we transform our processes with lean process improvement and automation of processes where possible. This role will act as subject matter expert for lean process improvement, requirements gathering, and all other areas of business analysis, alongside playing a major part in developing stakeholders' process improvement skills to really democratise process improvement. Within the Digital & IT team itself, you will work closely within a small project team, as well as with the development team, technical managers and the wider service delivery team.

You will play your part in continuing to develop the Digital & IT team as a high-performing team by promoting organisational values, motivating staff, driving performance improvement, and developing strong partnerships with teams and individuals across the University to understand their technology needs and align improvements and services accordingly. The aim of all roles within the team is to deliver the best student and staff experience in relation to technology - no mean feat, and an ambition we are continually driving towards.

About You

As a Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving process improvement and ensuring requirements for projects and products are centred around excellence and innovation within the University's Digital & IT team. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and deliver lean process improvements across the institution, and to ensure that requirements and benefits are identified and tracked in alignment with our existing project management processes. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation delivery, ensuring the best possible digital experience for our staff and students.
