Description:

As the Business Advisor, you will be based in Lisburn, reporting to the Chief Executive. Your key responsibilities will include offering business advice, mentoring, and training to emerging and growing businesses and individuals navigating the path of entrepreneurship. You will provide support in various domains such as marketing, finance, legal matters, ICT, innovation, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional business advice and mentoring to individuals interested in launching or expanding their ventures.
  • Create comprehensive business plans, including financial projections, for new and existing businesses.
  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of client businesses.
  • Deliver startup and business development support services, encompassing pre-enterprise initiatives and outreach programmes.
  • Ensure programme delivery within budget and meet output targets.
  • Design and conduct training workshops, seminars, and event planning.
  • Maintain and update websites and employ social media tools for marketing.
  • Fulfil any other duties reasonably required by the Chief Executive to contribute to LEO's effective functioning.

Requirements:

We are searching for a skilled Business Advisor who thrives in a collaborative team environment, with excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude. The ideal candidate possesses:

  • A relevant degree-level qualification, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Finance, or equivalent degree with experience in business/industry.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in providing business advice to startups and early-stage businesses within the last three years.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training and development programmes.
  • Ideally, experience in providing business planning mentoring across various sectors.
  • Proficiency in CRM and content management software, along with social media platform management.
  • Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forward-thinking mindset.
  • Outstanding face-to-face and telephone manners.
