About the opportunity: A unique opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor role within the University’s Estates and Accommodation team. We seek a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our dynamic Estates and Accommodation team. As a Building Surveyor, you will serve as the lynchpin, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to manage and oversee various projects within the university’s built environment.
The successful candidate will balance client expectations while adhering to established estate processes and procedures. The Estates team oversees the delivery of maintenance and alterations, small and large refurbishments, and major new capital developments. The role's focus is to assist in providing a professional Building Surveying and Project Management support service. You will manage and support a portfolio of maintenance and refurbishment works for all our accommodation.
About you: To excel as a building surveyor, you should showcase your proficiency in assessing structural integrity, project management, and regulatory compliance. Your experience conducting thorough inspections, producing detailed reports, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders and other disciplines will be crucial.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed but maybe required to travel to other campuses as the work necessitates.
