Description:
Online tutors are vital to the success and vibrancy of our online courses. Tutors are a constant presence in the module, the first point of contact for students’ academic enquiries and supporting their learning activities. The module is primarily asynchronous (not undertaken in real-time), online tutors log in and tend to the activities in the module at multiple points during week. Live tutorial sessions happen at the beginning of the week, and live webinars happen at the end of the week at a time to suit online tutors. These live times are agreed and plotted into students’ calendars and cannot be moved, however the hours around these live sessions are flexible.
The Online Tutor for this module will be allocated 208 hours for the study block to support up to 30 students with learning, assessment and feedback, working January 2025 to May 2025.
