Associate Lecturer In Engineering, Computing And Mathematics

We are seeking new Associate Lecturers to join our Institute of Applied Sciences team. Associate Lecturers contribute to the delivery of modules on the University’s undergraduate degree routes in engineering, computing and mathematics.

We are seeking to recruit Associate Lecturers who could teach in at least one of the following areas:

• Computer Science Fundamentals

• Algorithms and Data Structures

• Design and Analysis of Algorithms

• Mobile Application Development

• Creative Computing

• Computational Science

• Object-Orientated Programming (Java)

• Electrical Foundations/Principles (including Electromagnetism)

You will be based at our coastal campus, working in our custom-built Tech Park in Bognor Regis and expected to deliver on programmes such as, BSc in Computer Science, BEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering and the Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree.

The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching activities. The post holders will be required to fit into complex timetable provisioning therefore some flexibility will be required. The majority of the teaching is face to face, but you must have the ability to use blended and remote delivery as required working with a range of IT packages and the VLE Moodle.

Candidates should have the appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, and have extensive recent relevant teaching experience.
