Description:

Aviva Investors is seeking an Associate Director to join their Real Estate team and play a key role in business planning and strategy formation for UK and European Long Income Real Estate funds. This position will contribute to enhancing Aviva Investors' reputation as a best-in-class fund manager, while also helping secure new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and progressing ‘value-add’ opportunities across Long Income Funds. You will work closely with Fund Management, Origination, Asset Management, and Research teams to conduct financial analysis of individual transactions, including pricing analysis, impact on Fund strategy, and evaluation of various structuring options. Managing credit risk profiles and ensuring funds meet investor requirements in a long-term sustainable manner will be a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and progress ‘value-add’ opportunities for Long Income Funds.

  • Conduct financial analysis on individual transactions for UK and European Long Income Real Estate funds.

  • Provide pricing analysis, assess impact on Fund strategy, and evaluate structuring options.

  • Review and manage credit risk profiles to ensure funds are sustainable for investors.

  • Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to understand and manage risks at the Asset/Fund level.

  • Provide strategic recommendations (buy/hold/sell/restructure/monitor) to Fund and Asset Management teams.

  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure risk management and business strategies align.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and track record in Fixed Income fundamentals and relative value analysis.

  • Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.

  • Previous experience in financial modelling and analysis within the Real Estate or finance sector.

  • Strong risk management mindset.

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • IMC, CFA (preferred), or Actuary qualification (FIA or FFA), or currently pursuing them.
