Description:
A leading global consulting firm is seeking an Associate Director to join its Financial Services Strategy and Operational Transformation practice. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in retail and commercial banking, particularly in operational transformation across banking operations. The successful candidate will work closely with C-suite and senior executives to identify and execute strategic transformations that drive performance improvement, growth, and enterprise-wide changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
- Identify, pursue, and convert business development opportunities in financial services strategy.
- Lead complex engagement designs and oversee day-to-day delivery of transformation projects.
- Support enterprise-wide transformation, performance improvement, and growth strategy initiatives.
- Conduct scoping and fee negotiations for major client engagements.
- Develop and publish thought leadership in financial services transformation.
- Ensure compliance with risk management frameworks.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, providing 360-degree feedback.
- Lead and coordinate practice development initiatives to enhance the firm's strategy services.
Requirements:
Work Experience:
- Proven experience in strategy consulting (Big 4, strategy houses, public sector, or industry strategy teams).
- Strong understanding of retail or commercial banking value drivers.
- Track record in leading operational transformation projects in banking, working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in high-value business development and senior stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and commercialize relationships with C-level executives.
