Job Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Biggleswade. You will have access to modern equipment, including separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, fully equipped consultation and surgical rooms, an x-ray suite, and an ultrasound machine. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures.
✅ Provide clear patient updates and tailored treatment plans with accurate cost estimates.
✅ Ensure regulatory, practice, and operational compliance in all veterinary procedures.
✅ Engage with and mentor the team, enhancing their clinical skills.
✅ Support nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures to improve practice efficiency.
✅ Proactively share best practices within the Medivet network.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
✔ Proven experience in small animal practice.
✔ Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
✔ Excellent clinical leadership and mentoring skills.
✔ Passion for continuous professional development and implementing best practices.
