Seasalt, a thriving retail lifestyle brand known for its creativity and customer-first values, is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager to join their Tunbridge Wells team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the Store Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a successful store team. Your contribution will ensure the store runs smoothly, achieves key performance indicators, and consistently delivers the outstanding customer service Seasalt is known for.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in fostering a service-led culture focused on customer satisfaction.

  • Encourage omni-channel sales, data capture, and add-on recommendations to drive sales.

  • Support in recruitment and team building to create a diverse and enthusiastic workforce.

  • Act as a role model, demonstrating strong commercial awareness and KPI achievement.

  • Coach and conduct one-on-one development sessions with team members.

  • Analyze store performance and communicate effectively with both team and stakeholders.

  • Implement and maintain high standards in visual merchandising and product display.

  • Handle store operations including stock management, loss prevention, health & safety, GDPR, and cash handling.

  • Act as a key-holder, taking full responsibility for the store during opening, closing, and management cover.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory retail role or similar customer service environment.

  • Strong understanding of sales, KPIs, and commercial targets.

  • Excellent coaching, communication, and people-management skills.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a creative mindset.
