Assistant Merchandiser

 

Description:

To lead the management of your ranges, trading high value brands on a global level with multiple distribution channels, completing detailed analysis, working alongside the Buyers to develop market leading brands and products. To have complete ownership, supporting the budget planning process and assignment of category sales growth and option plans.

 

What will my accountabilities be?

To drive sales and profit whilst managing stock levels effectively.

 

  • Creation of budgets for sales, profit, stock and option count
  • Management of Open To Buy
  • Management of critical path to ensure that products launch on time
  • Identify growth opportunities for Category sales, margin and availability
  • Analysis of margin and pricing, creating recommendations for the product team re margin / volume optimisation
  • Regularly updating the top line sales forecasts (with input from key stakeholders)

 

A great candidate will have:

⭐️ Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in retail Merchandising or supply chain

⭐️ Experience of planning large SKUs count breadth of offer with diverse rate of sale and channel distribution

⭐️ Planning experience within owned and sourced brands, as well as third party ones

⭐️ Experienced in forecasting and excellent excel skills

⭐️ Familiar dealing with a far-east supplier base
