Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager will work under the guidance of GP Partners and the Group Practice Manager to:
- Ensure adherence to HFPG policies and procedures by staff members.
- Provide administrative support to the Group Practice Manager.
- Optimize staff resources, including clinical staff, to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor organizational targets and report progress to the Group Practice Manager and GP Partners.
- Assist in financial and organizational planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:
- Supervise the day-to-day running of the practice with clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Support recruitment processes, staff induction, and training initiatives.
- Oversee development and updates of practice protocols and procedures.

Communication:
- Maintain effective communication at all levels, ensuring issues are promptly reported.
- Liaise with local and wider NHS organizations.
- Attend and contribute to practice planning and development meetings.

Operational Support:
- Work with other Practice Managers (PMs) and operational managers within the PCN (Primary Care Network).
- Ensure progress toward targets, data updates, and claims submissions.
