Assistant Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a luxury retail brand on a permanent basis. This role working for a luxury fashion retail business has been created due to the growth the company has achieved. This is a hybrid role based in East London, with expectations of 4 days in office.

Details of the role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be an integral member in the Finance team managing the Accounts Payable process and assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts. This role has the view to take on more Management Accountant duties as the company grows.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of reviewing, and verifying invoices
• Carrying out Daily/Weekly payment runs (multicurrency)
• Carrying out monthly multicurrency bank reconciliations
• Assisting with the management accounts and balance sheets
• Assisting with the analysis of monthly reporting packs
