Asset Manager

Description:

The City of Westminster are looking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to undertake a desktop review of the information we hold on the buildings within our portfolio in relation to the potential presence of RAAC concrete within them.

The individual will be managed day to day by the named Head of Service above however will report into a project working group of senior stakeholders. The review will cover our operational portfolio in the first instance but will then move to look at our investment portfolio thereafter.

The role will involve analysing the information we hold on our buildings from multiple sources and identifying where RAAC concrete may have been used and reporting this to the project working group so further investigative action can be taken where necessary.

The work will be undertaken mainly through a desktop review of our sites and through speaking with stakeholders however visits may be required as appropriate to deliver the best outcome for the exercise.

Knowledge of RAAC and its usage would be a bonus, but full training will be provided via our specialist RAAC contractor.
 

• A strong knowledge of the property sector with relevant accreditation (e.g., MRICS / Assoc RICS/ IOSH / NEEBOSH).
• A knowledge of the commercial property and occupational property sector.
• A knowledge of the RAAC product and its usage would be beneficial however on-site training with our RAAC surveyor will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and directly with differing teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to analyse and report complex information from a variety of sources.
