Description:
The Sales Manager in TA will provide a professional and brand focused Sales role with emphasis on identifying, exploring, cultivating, and ultimately delivering new business opportunities to achieve or exceed business targets for both new customers and revenue, creating a healthy and demonstrably active sales pipeline at all times.
This role utilises exceptional sales skills to achieve (or exceed) the allocated sales targets, and activity targets assigned on an on-going basis.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide effective recruitment and ongoing management of new customers
· Provide effective management of existing customers to maximise further sales opportunities and ensure retention at end of contract
· Ensure turnover and recruitment targets are achieved
· Remain up to date on product knowledge, including new and upcoming launches, using effective communication methods to engage existing customers
· Evaluate market data statistics to provide regular assessment of key market areas
· Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all administrative sales tasks, in compliance with internal procedures, including sales ordering, forecasting, and sales reporting.
· Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across all departments, in particular Marketing, Customer Support, and Solutions.
· Support the Head of Sales and Senior Management Team with additional duties relevant to your skills and experiences, as required by the business.
Experience
Proven track record of direct selling preferably in the copier / printer market.
Specialist Skills & Knowledge
IT literate with a good working knowledge of standard office software applications, with a basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Thorough understanding of the Company’s portfolio and the marketplace
Knowledge of consultancy style selling
Demonstratable experience with consultancy style selling
Proven experience in using initiative to solve daily problems
Proven relationship development skills
Valid UK driving licence
