Area Sales Consultant

 

Description:

Alerter Group is searching for an experienced and motivated sales consultant to convert warm leads generated by excellent inbound marketing and to create new business by selling its market leading lifesaving products on a consultancy basis to new and existing customers across the Central England regional belt.

 

Who would you be selling to?

Our end users are varied and include universities, colleges, government, hotels, and blue-chip companies as well as their consultants and appointed sub-contractors.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Generating revenue through a combination of creating leads, or following up on our excellent inbound marketing leads, presenting to our end user clients, project tracking and negotiating contracts from specification and tender stage.
  • Developing and maintaining existing client relationships with our long-term partnerships
  • Forming an integral part of the national sales team and being responsible for territory planning and management

 

Person Specification

Essential

  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build good customer relationships
  • Good proven track record in new business field sales (at least 3 years), with experience of dealing with multiple & top-level decision makers
  • Target driven and self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active
  • Ethical and hard working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Consultancy approached sales experience
  • Previous experience of using a CRM for project tracking
  • Confident with Microsoft Office
  • Technical aptitude
  • Full driving license and own car to travel to regular client meetings
  • Facilities to work from home
  • A-Level or equivalent
